First: match order size to throughput
Henna cones don't spoil, but their staining power fades with time and heat. Work out how many cones you genuinely use or sell per month (see the per-occasion quantities in how to choose henna cones), and order 1–2 months' worth at a time, not a year's. Freeze what you won't use in the next few weeks.
Judging quality at scale
- Order a small sample batch first. Stain-test it on your inner arm over 48 hours before committing to a large order.

- Bring a cone to room temperature (15–20 min) before piping.

- Price breaks by quantity, and the minimum order for artist/wholesale rates.
- Lead time — cones should ideally be rolled to order, not pulled from old stock.

- Delivery — packed cool, and how fast within your city.
